Credit Suisse Asset Management appoints the Head of Acquisitions & Sales within Real Estate Switzerland as well as the Head of Acquisitions

Credit Suisse Asset Management has appointed Hans Jürg Scheidegger as the Head of Acquisitions & Sales within Real Estate Switzerland, having previously held this role on an ad interim basis. Hans Jürg joined the Acquisition & Sales team within Real Estate Switzerland at Credit Suisse Asset Management in 2007, where he successfully completed a variety of transactions for inventory real estate, projects, and portfolios. As of 2019 onwards, he has put his wide-ranging expertise and many years of experience in the Swiss transaction market into practice as the Head of Acquisitions in the Real Estate Switzerland business. Hans Jürg holds a degree in Business Administration and reports to the Heads of Real Estate Switzerland, a position currently being held jointly on an ad interim basis by Ulrich Braun and Silvio Preisig.

Dominik Kälin, who also joined Credit Suisse in 2007, will succeed Hans Jürg Scheidegger as the Head of Acquisitions in the Acquisition & Sales team within Real Estate Switzerland. He has been responsible for the completion of a wide range of relevant purchases for various real estate investment vehicles. With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, a degree in Architecture from a Swiss Higher Technical Institute, an Executive Master of Business Administration qualification, and extensive knowledge of Swiss real estate transactions, valuations, and the legislation within the sector, he ticks all the boxes to ensure the team remains positioned for success in the market.

Credit Suisse is the largest manager of direct real estate investments in Switzerland, with around CHF 40 billion (as of January 31, 2023) of assets under management, it is one of the 15 largest providers in the world.
